I know that they fit me, and I am 6cm across the wrist, 10cm across the hand from the bottom of the thumb, and 8cm across the middle of the hand (not including thumb). I measured all of this flat across using a ruler, not round.

They did stretch, so probably fit someone who's a little larger. If they're a lot larger, then you could try making them out of DK yarn with a slightly larger hook.Sarah Francishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05461288044696390905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7030586740317254687.post-78386094586386235952013-01-30T13:42:32.326+00:002013-01-30T13:42:32.326+00:00Was just wondering what size these are? Whenever you do a dc2tog then it will be into the next two dc (as you should be able to see in the charts).

The loop at the beginning was just to ensure that the beginning of the shawl comes out as a semi-circle, so you only work into one side of the stitches at the beginning. It was to try and angle the stitches from the beginning, rather than starting with a row. If your method has worked, then that seems a good approach as well.Sarah Francishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05461288044696390905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7030586740317254687.post-29615614659942095882012-12-08T14:45:12.463+00:002012-12-08T14:45:12.463+00:00Hi! Unfortunately, I've noticed a couple of writing errors, where it says to dc2tog, you don't specify over which 2 dc. Also, I was wondering why you leave 6 sc unmade at the very beginning. Is there a reason? I just made 6 into a loop and went from there.
Thanks for sharing your pattern, I hope to make one soon. :)Ana Luisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17339010894550029361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7030586740317254687.post-42213842379741926502012-10-14T17:10:06.662+01:002012-10-14T17:10:06.662+01:00Hi cj
