Neither damask nor blue-and-white porcelain are anything that I've really been interested in before, so I'm having lots of fun researching them, and trying to work out how to convert their designs into charts.

I'm a lover of blue and white porcelain so I'm very excited to see the knitting chart you will be coming up with. My family owns a porcelain set depicting flowers and is one of my favorite designs; I actually used it for my cooking blog header! (http://www.sabbathsupper.blogspot.com)
